Orlando Job Fair Wednesday Features Dozens of Employers

ORLANDO, Fla. — Are you looking for a job?

The 18th annual Mayor’s Job Fair is Wednesday afternoon at the Central Florida Fair Exposition Park on West Colonial Drive.

The Central Florida Employment Council is hosting the job fair. All job seekers are welcome, but you can pre-register ahead of time on the CFEC website.

The CFEC promises dozens of potential employers will be on hand, including Amazon, Florida Dept. of Corrections, the University of Central Florida, Walgreens, YMCA, AdventHealth Centra Care, Orange County government, and a whole host of hospitality companies, from the theme parks to hotel companies.

The event is free to attend. Veterans and displaced hurricane victims are encouraged to attend. No children are allowed.

CFEC says job seekers must dress professionally and bring resumes.

The job fair is from noon until 4 p.m. Wednesday. A workshop on "how to work a job fair" takes place at 11:30 a.m.
